We have continued to press the Department of Enterprise for sight of the Regulation surrounding the Act, due to be implemented on January 1st, 2023.
We have held one meeting with the Department officials in recent days and expect that the Regulation will be published shortly. The main areas we will be seeking clarity upon is around the provision of a Doctor’s Cert, the position of employers if the staff member does not provide a cert within a set period and the treatment of PAYE/PRSI EE/ER for the Sick Pay.
