We note from various reports that the Cabinet has given specific permission to the Minister for Health to bring forward the ( 7 years!!) long- awaited legislation regarding vaping products. There hasn’t been sufficient criticism directed at the Department for their total disregard of the need to ensure that retailers, suppliers and, perhaps most importantly, the public, were adequately protected by legislation designed to prevent access of nicotine-inhaling products to minors.
