Flora Crowe
Born into a 2nd generation family business, I worked in the shop all through school and college.
I graduated with a B.Comm & MSC in Marketing from NUIG in 2008 and started full time when I finished.
I succeeded my parents in 2019 and have been at the helm since.
We are part of the Gala Retail group and pride ourselves in our baked daily scratch bakery along with a fantastic deli, a wonderful team and being part of the community in Sixmilebridge.
Why she joined the national executive:
I love retail, but I also want to be part of change. I wanted to be part of the entity that made retail better for retailers.
The CSNA has been at the forefront of independent retailers for as long as i can remember, supporting us and making it a fairer playing pitch.
I wanted a seat at the table to influence change for the better.
The CSNA does that, it values its members and its executive and it cements our future in an ever evolving marketplace.
What she hopes to achieve as a member of the executive:
To influence key legislation at national level and to continue to make it a fairer playing field for independent retailers.
Any key advice you would have for retailers reading your profile:
Make the time to attend retail events, talk to other retailers and try to grow your retail network. Retailers all experience the same ups and downs and it’s only by talking to others that you can gain new insight, pick up a tip or find a solution.
