Moving to Variable Direct Debit (VDD) For VAT

Many members will be aware that Revenue have advised all businesses who had availed of the Fixed Direct Debit facility that this was discontinuing in 2026. We have been advised that Revenue have commenced writing to their customers setting out the actions required for the changeover. These actions relate to the filing of an annual return, the sign up to the new VDD (Variable Direct Debit) and the setting up for the Bi-monthly filing.
