The difference between Newspreads offer and that of Inpost/ EM News is 3percent additional discount (28% vs 25%)
The Newspread offer is Firm Sale (FS) and Inpost/EMNews is Sale or Return (SoR).
Retailers will not be able to return ANY unsolds to Newspread of the Match Attax range.
If you sell in excess of 25 boxes during a campaign, this FS condition will not create an overall loss for the product but given the very substantial additional RSP (€4.25), no one can guarantee how successful this product will be this year.
Retailers of news products in Ireland have always enjoyed Sale or Return, it allows them to offer products to their customers without concerns about changes in demand. CSNA can understand how this additional percentage is appealing and allows extra bottom line but would be concerned that other, less desirable products would become FS only.
