We would like to remind all members that they must display the below NTCO sign in their premises where tobacco is sold. It is illegal to sell tobacco without displaying this sign (legislation below).
Section 43(4) of the Public Health (Tobacco) Act, 2002 (as amended), provides that a person registered with the Office of Tobacco Control under Section 37 must display a sign at a premises where tobacco products are sold. The sign is prescribed in the Public Health (Tobacco) (Retail Sign) Regulations 2009 (S.I. No. 57 of 2009).
